Duke of York Cranberry Meadow was founded in 1892 on Isle Madame, a small rural community located on the eastern tip of Cape Breton Island. It was the first commercially grown cranberry operation in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Hubert & Claire Doyle owners of the Duke of York farm invites you to come visit our heritage farm, where our family continues to grow cranberries on the same 13 acre site. Everyone at Duke of York Cranberry Meadow is committed to the policy that it's only by using the finest wholesome cranberries that we can continue to provide our customers with delicious and healthful products.
The Duke of York Cranberry Meadow is home to Three brands of Cranberry Extract Drinks. Our drinks were introduced to Nova Scotia consumers in 1999 and have achieved a high degree of success at the Halifax Farmers Market and health food stores throughout the province of Nova Scotia. Modern science confirms that cranberries are rich in vitamins, minerals, and contains beneficial antioxidants. Our Extra Berry unsweetened cranberry drink ranks #1 among consumers. Produced in small batches our product is unique and different than the existing products in the marketplace.
